Victorian Glass Greenhouse

Rion greenhouse kits offer vents for proper air circulation and for heat control, IGC offers shade cloth made to fit the Rion. All models are expandable in length and you can add roof vents, window openers, or side vents.

Strength

The Victorian hobby greenhouse is constructed with an attractive rustproof aluminum frame. It's aluminum profiles are larger, thicker and stronger than other glass hobby greenhouses in the same price range. Windows are held in place by heavy rubber seals, which provide better insulation - others only use metal clips. Vertical glass is only one piece - looks much nicer. Others use two overlapping pieces - which fills with dirt.

Reliability

The Victorian greenhouse kit comes with a 15-year warranty. Standard equipment includes stainless steel bolts and nuts, draft strips on the door, rubber insulation on the windows, condensation gutters on the inside of the gutter profile, and a foundation is not required.

Quality

The Victorian glass greenhouse is 6'7" high at the sidewalls - about 1 foot higher than most other hobby greenhouses. It is packed full of extras including automatic window openers, a built-in interior shade system, *a misting system (all you need is a hose to connect), a 4" deep planting shelf and upper shelf that run the length of the greenhouse, a deluxe sliding door, and 4mm tempered glass (most other glass greenhouses use 3mm).

Simplicity

The well thought out profile system of the Victorian greenhouse guarantees a very long life and excellent stability. The foundation profile is standard with every model. Thanks to the stable construction, an extra foundation is not required which considerably simplifies the installation of the greenhouse. Easy to understand step by step assembly instructions are included with every structure.
